Job Title:

Accounts Payable Coordinator Department:
Finance

Manager:
Director Finance


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate vendor invoice data entry process to ensure timely input of invoices into the General Ledger
  • Coordinate follow up on all vendor invoices out for approval
  • Working with Production, coordinate appropriate approvals for all vendor invoices that do not match vendor Purchase Order and Outbound documents (receiving slips)
  • Coordinate vendor bi
  • Review trade spend and customer deductions and investigate as needed
  • Process credit card statements
  • Review/ prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations and analysis including bank reconciliations, AR, AP and inventory sub ledgers as required
  • Assist with yearend audit process

Experience:


  • 13 years related accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of processes and procedures
  • Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of Great Plains an asset)
  • Ability to take initiative, resolve issues, provide solutions and recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work extra hours as required
  • Strong attention to detail
and accuracy in data entry and record keeping

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
