Description

At Kids Kitchen, a team of cooks, kitchen helpers, packers, porters, and Delivery Drivers help to prepare, pack, and deliver nutritious and delicious meals to feed kids in the York Region and GTA.

As a member of the production team, you'll help support the production staff, and ensure that their tasks are performed effectively and to the highest possible health and safety standards.

• Assist with high volume food production
• Chopping, portioning and packaging food products
• Organize, weigh, and count food items
• Maintain food safety standards and comply with work instructions
• Ensure that items being produced meet our quality standards and bring issues to the attention of the Kitchen Supervisors.

• Clean as you go including a full clean down of the work area at the end of each shift
• Keep coolers and freezer clean and organized
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Carefully follow health and safety rules
• Disposal of waste in a proper and organized way
• Other duties as required

• High School
• Previous experience with food
• Positive attitude, with a passion to get things done right
• Hardworking
• Punctual with a strong attendance record
• Works well in a team environment
• Ability to work on your feet
• Attention to cleanliness
• Ability to read, write and speak English

• Day shift
