Sales Account Executive.
The
Outside
Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by pursuing new customers and seeking business opportunities with existing customers in an assigned market and territory.
About You:
- You have 4+ years of outside progressive sales / account management / business to business / business development experience
- You have experience within the Electrical, Telecommunications, UPS/Datacenter or Utility sectors is an asset
- You have demonstrated history of progressive sales performance and proven sales ability with knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- You have strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build longterm relationships at all stakeholder levels (including executive) who is proactive, selfdirected and works well independently
- You have solid planning, organizational, time management, computer skills, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete effective presentations
- You have the ability to handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements, and working through differences towards a winwin solution.
- You have demonstrated ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively and the ability to analyze procedural gaps and develop solutions
- You have postsecondary education in a business, sales or marketing program is an asset
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and executing all sales and marketing activities on assigned accounts to drive sales growth
- Establishing and maintaining solid partnering relationship with local site management; providing a trusted advisor perspective through regular communication
- Providing technical information on products, and other customer training as required
- Evaluating existing business and identifying opportunities for incremental revenue growth and/or cost optimization
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a healthy sales opportunity pipeline
- Utilizing Salesforce to accurately identify customers, keep track of sales leads, document sales activities, etc.
- Preparing sales contracts and quotes in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting of business transactions, sales calls, and expense accounts
- Effectively working with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Other Considerations
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record/extract required
- Background checks including criminal checks and employment references will be requested.
- Please note that this position may be based out of our Mississauga or Courtice location
