Lens Shapers Inc. is Canada's premier full-service optical lab. We are a manufacturer and supplier of ophthalmic lenses. Established in 2008, we provide complete service solutions for opticians, optometrists, and ophthalmologists across the nation.

We are currently hiring experienced
Lab Technicians (full-time & part-time) in Edging/Finishing, Tinting, and Quality Control departments.

Hours:
Mon to Fri: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Part-time hours TBD)

Full-time positions come with extended health benefits including medical and dental.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Edging & Finishing:

Edging & mounting lenses into frames
Lens marking, verification, and blocking
Frame tracing, small repairs
Other related duties as assigned.

Tinting:

Possess excellent skills & experience in lens tints
Fast, accurate, and consistent with tint colour matching
Must be attentive to detail

Quality Control:

Job quality inspection including Rx verification, lens optical quality, coating quality, and finishing quality etc.
Lens picking
Have 3+ years experience working as a lab technician
Have a high school diploma or equivalent minimum
Have good basic math skills
Be able to read, write and speak fluent English
Be a team player
