Handling Manager / Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all operations of Handling: plane loading, delivery, ramp operations, coordination with airport authorities
  • Manage scheduling of the team to offer the best expected service to the clients and optimize the Company resources
  • Monitor and analyze delivery schedule to ensure routes are optimized
  • Ensure service and cost targets are met, develop and implement recommendations as required
  • Manage the staff at all level: hiring, training, discipline, promotions, assignment of work, monitoring, hours
  • Monitor entire transportation process, inventory tracking of company's equipment stocks; manage trucks fleet
  • Follow the company rules, the labor legislation & all applicable legal requirements
  • Update and monitor the training of the team in terms of Quality and safety, including the protective equipment
  • Control alerts and food safety issues closely with the Quality Manager
  • Check for proper maintenance of equipment and premises every day
  • Manage and controls the performance of his department through operational KPIs (punctuality, accidents & incidents ) and share planned actions and to have the expected improvement and to be in line with the Group standards
  • Implement all means to meet our primary goal of "delivering on time, determined by our customers"
  • Ensures compliance in service delivery
  • Arrange and optimize the projected schedules based on aircraft movements of the day
  • Ensures the best expected close followup and fluent communication with the company customers
  • Ensure a timely and fully update of the Pax load and all service given to the clients
  • Directly oversee coordination of operations, be the final decision maker for requests and modifications
  • Organize schedules of teams
  • Manage the staff at all level: hiring, training, discipline, promotions, assignment of work, monitoring, hours
  • Act as a guarantor that all additional services sold are registered on the delivery notes
  • Ensures proper reporting to the Unit Manager
  • Plan, optimize and followup the preventive and curative maintenance of fleet assigned
  • Monitor and optimize the fuel consumption related to fleet assigned
  • Ensures the proper use of equipment and vehicles at the disposal of the service
  • Enforce and monitor the respect of truck safety rules and traffic laws
  • Enforce safety rules regarding the unit building, the equipment, and the workstations

Profile:


  • Superior education / College degree in logistics, supply chain and / or management is an asset
  • 3 years management experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
  • Field experience in food handling / Logistics / Transportation / Airlines industry is required
  • Ability to build successful teams and partnerships.
  • Possess a strategic mindset with the ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts using innovative ideas.
  • Valid Work Permit
  • Valid Driving License
  • Ability to successfully meet all Airport clearance requirements
