K-Dental Inc is looking for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant/ Nursing Assistant who will function as an assistant to the Registered Nurse.

Under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, a CNA/ Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing services to ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily dutiesie bed making, vitals
Supervise at mealtimes in Dining rooms for independent residents
Support residents with their daily grooming, and shower by supervising, helping to shave and giving towels
Timely reporting of change in resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor
Protecting each residents file and data with confidentially per HIPAA standards
Abiding with all facility policies and procedures including not disclosing user ID codes and passwords
Following Infection and Control policies
Reporting any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, or other hazardous materials to a supervisor immediately

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
