Description

The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that excellent customer service is provided as orders are promptly and safely delivered to various locations throughout a designated area.

You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver a variety of assembled and nonassembled office furniture to various locations within a designated area, with a colleague
Follow routes and a time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a 3 or a 5ton truck
Complete daily inspection logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Collect payments
Occasionally required to assist with the installation and assembly of some products

Qualifications:

3 years of Commercial driving; experience using 3 or 5ton trucks in traffic and on busy streets, with both manual and automatic transmissions
Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a Clean Driver's Abstract
Professional appearance and exceptional customer service skills
Ability to consistently carry 75lbs unassisted and willing to do stair carries
