Position Summary
- The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) supports and enhances Mount Carmel Clinic's relationship with the broader community, promotes MCC programs and services and invites volunteer participation from community members and groups. The CEC makes room for participation from those who offer their services, ensure that risks have been anticipated and managed, provides training and orientation as needed and supervises MCC volunteers.
Qualifications

Education
- Bachelors' degree in Community Development or the Social Sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certificate in Volunteer Management or Human Resources
- Valid Manitoba Drivers' License and access to a reliable vehicle
Skills, Expertise and Experience
- Strong knowledge of effective volunteer management practices
- Minimum 3 years of program development and volunteer management experience
- Demonstrated facilitation, supervision, leadership, and evaluation skills.
- Experience in internal and external event planning and management

- Proven knowledge and ability in critical thinking, decisionmaking, problemsolving and conflict resolution skills

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus workrelated activities to effectively and efficiently achieve goals and produce expected results/outcomes
