    Overview

    :

    The Registered Physiotherapist role within Insight Health Solutions will provide clinical assessment and treatment services to clients from a variety of referral sources including staff and community. Services are covered by extended health benefits or fee for service and treatment is accessible at our Credit Valley, Mississauga and Queensway Health Centre locations as well as at our Bristol Circle satellite clinic location.

    What you will do:

  • Perform a comprehensive Physiotherapy assessment as well as develop and implement a goal-oriented treatment plan
  • Provide assessment and treatment services and documentation in keeping with the College guidelines and standards of practice
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and evaluation
  • Contribute to the overall vision/mandate of Insight Health Solutions
  • Supervision of PTA as required
  • Supervision of students as required
  • Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy (Bachelors or – required
  • Registered to practice in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Membership with Association – preferred
  • One to two years of relevant experience in assessing and treating patients with a focus on neuro-musculoskeletal conditions
  • Experience managing diverse caseloads
  • Manual Therapy or McKenzie approach an asset
  • Concussion and Vestibular Rehab experience or training an asset
  • Certification in Acupuncture or IMS as asset but not required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to exceptional client centered care
  • Adept at evidence-based best practice assessment and treatment principles
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning with evidence of continuing education, including professional and personal development courses
  • Able to work effectively independently in a fast paced setting
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable, flexible, creative and self-motivated
