Heritage Family Services is now recruiting experienced Child and Youth Care Workers for an Child Care Worker

Night shift

at our programs located in Red Deer, AB. 3 on 3 off 12 hour shifts

Requirements:

A minimum of a two (2) year Diploma in the Human Services field and/or three (3) years of experience in the care of youth with complex needs.
Experience working with highcomplex need individuals.
Experience working with individuals who have FASD, attachment disorder and complexities of developmental trauma.
Superior crisis deescalation and coregulation skills.
Compassionate understanding of indigenous culture.
Combination of experience with First Nation, Metis and/or Inuit culture.
Respectful of individual and cultural diversity.
