SaskEnergy is seeking a Leader, Emergency Management to provide leadership for Corporate Emergency Management to fulfill the Corporate mandate including compliance with Legislation and Regulations.

This includes providing expertise to senior management and the Corporate Emergency Management committees.

Position Details- Non-union - This position is permanent full time.


Key Accountabilities- Manage and provide leadership for the Emergency Management Program ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements are met by the corporation.- Lead the development of emergency preparedness plans and the communication of priorities and implementation of consistent policies and procedures.- Coordinate, develop and maintain updates of the Corporate COMPS (Construction Operating and Maintenance Procedures), programs, plans, processes and policies.- Participate on the Corporate Incident Command Team Coordinate and maintain Corporate training documentation specific to Emergency Response and monitor to ensure applicable employees and contractors have completed required training.- Act as the Corporate contact for the pipeline industry workgroups, Critical Infrastructure Association, Canada Energy Regulator, Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency, Water Security Agency, and Public Safety Canada.- Provide expertise and guidance to employees, senior management and provincial, municipal and non-government agencies on emergency management.- Other related duties as assigned.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Engineering- Five (5) years progressive management experience including responsibility in project management, pipeline regulations and/or emergency management.- Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.- Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.

A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered

Additional Information- Travel, including overnight stays away from headquarters is required on occasion.
