Job Description:

As a Construction Crew Labourer, you will play a vital role in our team, working under the supervision of the Department Foreperson.

You will be responsible for executing tasks delegated by the Foreperson and ensuring the successful completion of all assigned jobs.

This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Work within Occupational Health & Safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
Execute assigned tasks under the guidance of the Foreperson
Maintain cleanliness of job sites and surrounding areas after completion of work
Ensure all loads in vehicles are properly secured and ready for transport
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles for assigned jobs
Collaborate closely with the Crew Lead to ensure efficient project execution
Utilize various manual and power tools and equipment as required
Foster high morale, positive energy, and build a strong team dynamic
Fuel and clean vehicles as needed
Ensure proper use of team personal protective equipment (PPE)
Plan and submit routes for efficient job scheduling

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

Certificate in Carpentry, Automotive, Horticulture, or equivalent work experience
High attention to detail and adherence to processes
Effective communication skills in various environments
Strong problemsolving skills to navigate challenging or complex situations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team dynamic
Leadership skills are an asset

Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs, or 75 lbs in a twoperson lift
Extended periods of time spent standing, squatting, and kneeling
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour
