The Role:


The Interior Design Consultant (GTA) is responsible to provide the best-in-class customer experience from first visit to the Sales Centre through Design to Closing for every Caivan homeowner.

The Consultant is accountable for overall customer relationship management and dispute resolution.

The role is located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Focus

  • Scheduling and completion of Time of Sale and exterior colour selection appointments on time. Exceeding revenue targets
  • Qualify lead generation, ensure FINTRAC compliant and preapproval of purchasers.

Design Focus

  • Meet and greet clients, establish trust and rapport, provide informative sales presentation catering to customer's needs, values and concerns, overcome objections.
  • Complete interior colour and design selections on time, exceeding upgrade revenue targets
  • Completes and explains construction details and benefits while walking customers through their home during the Pre-Drywall walk.
  • Host Design Studio open house hours, walking customers through the Studio and explaining the available options.
  • Maintain labelling and organization of samples in the Design Studio as required.
  • Assists with all aspects of the Design Studio, including market research, design, sales, administrative functions, customer service, etc.

Administrative Support

  • Administers Contracts (Design Studio Amendments, Agreements of Purchase and Sale and Associated Schedules) with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ensuring Sales and Design deposits are managed in a timely manner and in line with the standard process.
  • Data input and execution of CRM/Sales process.
  • Order and maintain Sales Centre and Design Studio supplies, welcome and closing gifts and handout material inventory.
  • Ensure the Sales Centre, Design Studio and Model Homes are neat, clean, and welllit at all times. Walk sales office, model homes and design studio regularly and prepare a written punch list on a weekly basis for the builder in order to maintain the model in 100% condition.
  • Ensure that all collateral and supplies are well stocked and consistent with company specifications.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
  • Ensures that the Design Studio and Sales Centre is well integrated into the other departments in order to operate efficiently and deliver on customer expectations.

You will bring:


  • Postsecondary education in design, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple accounts and projects at once
  • Strong communication skills to enhance our customer's experience
  • Meticulous attention to detail, innovative thinking, and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and also effectively as part of a team
  • Must be highly motivated with a demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service
  • Valid driver's license with access to vehicle and willingness to travel
  • Must have steeltoe footwear
