General Summary:


Under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, the Electrical Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, instrumentation and repair of electrical and electronic equipment used in our production processes.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Electrical Technician: Tools, Crimping, Pinning, Routing, Connectors types, Soldering etc, NOT harness installers. (Bombardier wiring shop, Latelec, Bell, etc)
  • Must be capable to read and understand work instructions in English
  • Exemplifying a safetyfirst mindset and ensuring compliance with our customer's Health, Safety and Environment policies and standards
  • Carrying out electrical assignments in accordance with work instructions and regulations regarding the assembly of electrical or electronic components and cable harnesses within agreed task times
  • Signaling damages to wiring that occur during installation
  • Checking and assessing for completeness and correctness of tools, materials and documentation and taking action on deviations
  • Uphold the exceptional quality of our customer's standards
  • Maintain positive team relationships
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Office Suite

Required Education (including certifications):

  • 5year relevant experience in the assembly of aircraft wire harnesses OR Diploma of EMAM-Cabling or equivalent and have used the skills in their career


  • Bilingual

  • French and English
  • Job requires working on wire harnesses inaircraft with certain level of physical effort
  • Rotating shifts and on call (6:45 to 15:15 and 15:00 to 23:30)
  • Will have to pass eye exam (paid)
  • Will receive specific wiring training module typically 4 days with exam
  • Will receive on the job training but must be able to autonomous within 45 days
  • The right to work in Canada. (we do not sponsor work permits)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Auto Insurance

Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status required

Sous supervision générale et relevant du directeur des opérations qualité, le Technicien Electricité est responsable du dépannage, de l'entretien, de l'instrumentation et de la réparation des équipements électriques et électroniques utilisés dans nos processus de production.


FONCTIONS ESSENTIELLES - Les fonctions essentielles sont les tâches de base qu'un employé doit être en mesure d'exécuter, avec ou sans accommodement raisonnable.

  • Technicien en électricité : outillages, sertissage, goupillage, routage, types de connecteurs, soudure, etc., PAS d'installation de harnais. (Câblage Bombardier, Latelec, Bell, etc.)
  • DOIT être capable de lire et de comprendre les instructions de travail en anglais
  • Illustrer un état d'esprit axé sur la sécurité et assurer la conformité avec les politiques et les normes de nos clients en matière d'Hygiène, de Sécurité et d'Environnement
  • Réaliser des tâches électriques conformément aux instructions de travail et aux réglementations concernant l'assemblage de composants électriques ou électroniques et de faisceaux de câbles dans les délais convenus
