Position Overview:


As a Logistics Coordinator for our private jet catering company, you will play a pivotal role in managing the intricate logistics involved in delivering gourmet meals to our clients' private jets.

You will be responsible for coordinating the entire process from menu selection and preparation to final delivery, ensuring that every detail is executed flawlessly and in accordance with our high standards of quality and timeliness.


Key Responsibilities:

Menu Coordination:

Collaborate with our culinary team and clients to curate bespoke menus tailored to individual preferences, dietary restrictions, and flight specifications.


Order Management:
Efficiently manage all catering orders, including processing, tracking, and confirming orders with suppliers and vendors.

Supply Chain Oversight:
Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure adequate stock for upcoming flights while minimizing waste.

Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough inspections of all catering items to ensure they meet our standards of freshness, presentation, and safety.

Logistics Planning:

Develop comprehensive logistics plans for each catering order, including scheduling delivery times, coordinating with ground handlers, and arranging for transportation to the aircraft.


Communication:

Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, pilots, flight crews, and other relevant stakeholders to provide updates on catering arrangements and address any concerns or special requests.


Problem Resolution:

Quickly identify and resolve any logístical challenges or issues that may arise during the catering process, ensuring mínimal disruption to the client's travel experience.


Documentation and Reporting:

Keep detailed records of catering orders, deliveries, and client preferences, and generate reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the hospitality or aviation industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work nontraditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
