    Description

    Art Engineering Inc. (AEI) is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Kingston, Ontario.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Complete structural analyses, calculations, and designs for a variety of projects
    • Prepare structural drawings and technical reports for projects, while peer reviewing the work of fellow team members
    • Conduct site inspections and field reviews
    • Manage communications with contractors, clients, subconsultants, and internal teams throughout projects while strengthening professional relationships
    • Manage projects to ensure schedule milestones and budget constraints are met
    • Draft structural drawings and write technical reports
    • Correspond / communicate with contractors and clients

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Ontario (ideally with structural rehabilitation, restoration and/or maintenance projects)
    • Knowledge and understanding of relevant local standards and codes (OBC, NBCC, MTO Manuals, etc.)
    • Moderate level of proficiency in AutoCAD
    • High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
    • Valid 'G' driver's license and access to personal vehicle for travel to project sites
    • Professional Engineer Designation (P.Eng) issued by Professional Engineers of Ontario
