SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must have at least one year of experience in payroll full cycle
  • Accuracy and speed in data entry are an absolute must
  • Knowledge of Payroll practices and CRA Legislation
  • Must be proficient with Excel and able to grasp new software easily
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Completion or working towards Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) from the National Payroll Institute




ANNUAL SALARY:
$50,000 - $55,000

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Responsible for preparing and administering an hourly payroll (biweekly) while ensuring the accuracy and completeness of timesheets, tickets, etc.
  • Compile and prepare payrollrelated reports before and after each payroll run
  • Process terminations including final pays and ROEs
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate information personnel files
  • Respond to inquiries from internal and external sources
  • Troubleshoot issues for appropriate resolutions
