Responsibilities:

Install water and sewer pipelines according to project specifications.
Collaborate with the site servicing foremen and superintendent to ensure efficient workflow.
Conducting elevations shots, reading grade, and ensuring pipe is being properly placed in the ground.
Providing continuous inspections of pipes for cracks or deficiencies
Responsible for cutting and preparing pipes and fittings for installation.
Assisting Pipe Layer with installation as needed, locating utilities, and other duties as assigned by the project foreman.
Cutting pipe to length and preparing pipe and fittings for installation by the pipelayer.
Securing pipes, manholes and other materials and equipment for the equipment operator before lowering into or removing from the trench.
Ensuring that materials for the pipelayer and other workers are ready as needed on the job site.
Works closely with other crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Water and Sewer Topman or similar role with 2+ years experience.
Indepth knowledge of water and sewer construction processes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to interpret project plans and work collaboratively with the team.
Valid Drivers License or ability to report to head office daily and on time.

PPE & Allowance: 214 will provide daily hi-visibility workwear including a $250 PPE allowance for CSA certified work boots or any workwear above and beyond the provided package.
