Job Title: Intermediate to Senior Level Project Manager

At Industra Construction Corporation, we are seeking an experienced project manager to join our team. This individual will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil and structural construction disciplines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develops a Cost-Effective Plan and Schedule: The project manager develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for the completion of projects, following a logical pattern for the utilization of resources.
• Maintains Safety and Quality Standards: The project manager minimizes exposure and risk by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
• Coodinates Subcontractors: The project manager coordinates the work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.
• Oversees Trade Contractors: The project manager oversees the performance of all trade contractors and reviews engineering drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.
• Administers Construction Contracts: The project manager is responsible for the proper administration of construction contracts and obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
• Supervises Assistant Managers: The project manager supervises assistant managers and superintendents, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety or quality violations or other reported deficiencies.
• Tracks Construction Schedule and Costs: The project manager tracks and controls the construction schedule and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated.
• Reports Progress: The project manager reports to owners, engineers, and portfolio managers about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
• Manages Client Interactions: The project manager manages day-to-day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role.
• Accurately Forecasts Revenue: The project manager accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, and project costs.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil and structural construction disciplines.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and experience with project management software such as Viewpoint.
