Reporting into the Data Capability Manager, the Data and Reporting Manager will partner closely with the Business Unit Analytics Managers to support the delivery of enterprise reporting needs of the Canadian Business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of enterprise reporting requirements to drive insights and inform decision making.
- Lead enterprise report development prioritization process and backlog management.
- Lead business requirements definition process in collaboration with Business Units, Analytics Managers & IT.
- Partner with IT to drive the delivery of data and reporting roadmap and changes.
- Accountable to ensure report design/development follows established standards and Data Governance best practices.
- Lead business QA, approval process and signoff ensuring business requirements are met.
- Contribute to Data Governance processes, presenting new reports, new data, new business rules and proposed changes to the data governance forum.
- Partner with third party data providers to understand and define data delivery requirements.
- Lead the exploration and integration of new data sources enabling rapid benefit realization from the acquisition of new data.
Qualifications
- University Degree or Higher in a relevant field
- 4+ years of experience in an analytical/reporting roles
- Background in performance measurement an asset
- Analytical mindset and demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in easyto understand language
- Proficiency with SQL and Power BI
- Experience with Microstrategy an asset
- Highly proficient in Excel, MS Office
- Experience with IQVIA data an asset
