Career Opportunity:

Ross Taylor Financial Corporation is currently seeking an experienced
Licensed Administrative Assistant to join our team.

This role involves assisting the advisor and working as part of a team to prepare materials for client meetings, process account transactions, provide customer service and perform various administrative duties.

Meticulous attention to detail is required and a proficiency in math is essential. Must have a pleasant telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with group medical benefits offered.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare client documents and files for client meetings
  • Process investment transactions (deposits, switches, redemptions etc.) and submit paperwork and documents as required
  • Process life insurance business and submit paperwork as required
  • Order entry and tracking of trades
  • Maintain and organize client files
  • Input data into databases, spreadsheets and financial planning software
  • Maintain comprehensive records in contact management system
  • Must adhere to compliance rules and regulations
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required

Experience and Education:


  • University degree or College diploma in related field
  • LLQP Licensed and/or Mutual Fund Licensed is an asset
  • 23 years experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Aptitude for learning new technology

Skills and Abilities:


  • Selfstarter and independent worker able to manage multiple priorities and demands
  • Proficient in math
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills to effectively respond to multiple priorities/deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to continuous change

Office Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$23.00-$24.00 per hour
