Responsibilities:


  • Teaching Math to students between Grades 12, using the Mathnasium Method
  • Being Energetic and Fun when teaching new concepts to students
  • Willingness to learn a new way of thinking about math
  • Relevant tasks related to teaching the students such as administrative assistance and other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


  • Exceptional Math Skills ( We test your math)
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to professionally interact with students and parents.
  • Energetic, Confident, and Caring personality.

  • Enjoys working in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:


  • University graduate or current university student from a program with an emphasis in math.
  • Ability to teach students confidently in highschool math courses (Grades 912).
  • Should be able to motivate students while they learn and allow them to work on new concepts while maintaining a positive environment.
All instruction takes place in person at our Learning Centre in the Lakeview area of Mississauga.

Our regular hours are 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm during the week, and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays.


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 9-12 per week


Salary:
From $16.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON L5G1J6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
