Accounting Analyst

Job summary
The Accounting Analyst performs the various financial analyses required for the smooth running of the company.

Main responsibilities
Performance and operational analyses

With information relevant to decisionmaking in the form of a dashboard, present the conclusions drawn from his/her analysis;
Participate in the management of foreign subsidiaries and prepare the various management reports concerning them: Jefo Mexico, Jefo Thailand and Jefo Qingdao;
Participate in the management of Jefo Construction, Transport Boulay, Hélicraft and Transport Jefo.

Accounting and financial operations

Participate in the preparation and monitoring of budgets for the company and its various subsidiaries;
Prepare monthly inventory followup for the entire Jefo Group;
Collaborate in the preparation and monthly analysis of information for RSDE;
Assist in the preparation of yearend files.

Other

Act as backup for Finance team members;
Act as an internal reference for Maximum accounting software;
Work closely with all departments of the company to maintain a harmonious work environment.

Education and experience required

Bachelor's degree in accounting;
Member of the Ordre des CPA du Québec;
Relevant work experience : Five (5) to seven (7) years.

Skills required

Bilingualism (English and French) essential due to frequent international assignments;
Proficiency in the following computer tools : Word, Excel, Internet and accounting software;
Knowledge of SAP an asset;
Knowledge of Spanish an asset.

Specific job requirements

Ability to work to tight deadlines;
May be required to work outside regular business hours.
