Responsibilities:

The Service Coordinator provides administrative support to the service, parts, and sales departments and is responsible for the following:

  • Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department
  • Administer new and used warranty, protection and maintenance contract plan
  • Contact existing clients for future service work
  • Provide administrative support for work orders, scheduling and trucking documentation
  • Prepare bank deposits and balance cash receipts
  • Maintain accounts payable or accounts receivable records entries on a daily and monthly basis
  • Review purchase orders ensuring information is accurate and submit supporting paperwork to the Accounting Department
  • Draft standard letters as requested and prepare documents for distribution
  • Support the health and safety initiatives and requirements of the store
  • Ability to work on a Saturday rotation, as well as extended hours during seasonal demands
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 years previous experience in a similar position with a high degree of product knowledge is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skill
  • Service maintenance knowledge
  • General knowledge of accounting practices
  • Ability to use standard desktop programs including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook functions
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms and agriculture is preferred
  • A college diploma in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices is required
