- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in Java, with deep understanding of object-oriented design and patterns
- Experience with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Experience working with cloud platforms, specifically AWS
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative learning environment
- Proven experience with production support, on-call duties, and incident response, including triaging issues, managing escalations, and maintaining system stability in live environments.

Position Overview
As a Software Engineer III, you'll be building and integrating web and mobile apps that real people use. You'll work with our core tech stack Java, JavaScript, and AWS; and help expand our CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts.
You'll be part of an Agile SCRUM team, working closely with colleagues, mentoring junior developers, and leading key initiatives.
You'll collaborate with teams across the company to deliver impactful solutions. Plus, you'll help architect, test, and deploy enterprise-level applications for clients across North America, all while having plenty of opportunities to grow.

Stage 1: 30-minute Recruiter Interview

Stage 2: 30-minute Hiring Manager Interview with Maryam Vahedi, Software Engineering Manager
This is a great opportunity to discuss your career goals and high-level technical experience, and to learn how we can support your growth and aspirations.
Stage 3: Take Home Skills Assignment
We're flexible You can set the deadline that works best for you to complete the take-home coding assessment. We use TestDome, and the test needs to be done in one sitting. It includes live coding and multiple-choice questions, focusing on Java and JavaScript. We're not looking for perfection; we're interested in how you approach problem-solving.
Stage 4: 1-hour Technical Interview
If the assessment goes well, you'll move on to the technical interview. You'll get to meet our Software Engineering Manager (Maryam) and a Team Lead. This is a great opportunity to show off your technical skills. We value collaboration, so we'll discuss the assessment together. We're interested not just in your final solution, but also in your thought process and how you got there.
Stage 5: 45-minutes Final Interview with Jason, Director of Software Development
This is your chance to discuss your career goals and learn how we can support your growth and aspirations.
Stage 6: References/Offer
