Description
We are seeking an experienced Event Security Specialist to join our team at Control Risks.

As an Event Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' events.


This position is a 6-month role.

Responsibilities:


  • Support Client event security team in the execution of safe,
- secure and successful events, ranging from large internal (non
- public) Client events to large marquee public events

  • Conduct desktop or inperson assessment of venues in Toronto /
  • Toronto area, with the possibility of conducting some limited
- assessments at other locations in Canada

  • Provide security requirements with regards to floor plan design for
- different events

  • Develop event security protocols, in collaboration with Client and
- vendor stakeholder groups

  • Develop eventspecific issues management playbook
  • Where feasible and at the discretion of Client, support the build
- out of elements of the broader corporate program, including but
- not limited to executive protection and travel risk management

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • 57 years of experience in government, corporate security or a similar role
  • Event security or close protection experience
  • Ability to understand and mitigate threatrelated considerations in various event settings
  • Ability to provide measured and timely guidance under pressure
