    Options Consulting Solutions Executive Recruitment is currently conducting an exclusive search on behalf of their client for Financial Planners. Our client has been a pioneer in the financial services sector for over four decades, offering investments, financial planning, and consulting services to a specific clientele with whom they maintain a solid mutual connection. Operating from their corporate headquarters in the Greater Toronto Area, our client caters to the entire province of Ontario through a network of Advisors situated strategically across all regions.

    As a Financial Planner stationed at our client's head office or remote location, you will handle incoming and outgoing calls to nurture relationships with existing clients, leveraging your expertise on product offerings to enhance value and expand the firm's asset portfolio. Additionally, you will refer lending requests to the Lending Services division.

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Cultivating meaningful connections with clients and evolving into their trusted Financial Planner.
    • Safeguarding and boosting the share of wallet by delivering personalized financial advice and solutions.
    • Creating client asset allocation proposals and modular financial plans.
    • Addressing client queries promptly and resolving issues efficiently.
    • Representing the company at industry events and gatherings.
    • Working collaboratively with team members throughout the business development cycle, adjusting strategies based on outcomes and market changes.

    Position Qualifications

    • Completion of post-secondary education (college diploma or university degree).
    • Possession of a valid Mutual Funds accreditation such as Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course.
    • Possession or pursuit of at least the PFP designation, with an ideal focus on obtaining the CFP designation.
    • A minimum of 4 to 5 years of successful experience as a Financial Planner, backed by proven achievements.
    • Experience in formulating, developing, and presenting financial plans to clients.
    • Demonstrated ability in establishing client relationships.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of French is beneficial.
    • Proficiency in using computer applications (MS Office suite).
    • Capability to work autonomously, demonstrating self-management skills to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively.
