Duties
:

The incumbent provides administrative, organizational, and clerical support to the Associate Dean in the School of Applied Science and Technology.

Provides secretarial and clerical support in the day-to-day administrative operation in the Faculty of Science, Trades and Technology.
Qualifications**- Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Office Administration or Business studies required

  • Minimum 2 years experience gained as a team player in a busy office environment with a focus on customer service
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
  • Knowledge of the education sector the College or other postsecondary environments including scheduling, standard workload formula completion and curriculum support
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
