This electronics restoration business is looking for a new owner / operator who has technical skills with home electronics and a desire to own and grow an independent, established business.

They currently do over $100,000 per year in service work, all which is transferrable to the new owner.

The business has been operating in Victoria, BC for over 30 years, doing insurance based work as a sub contractor for emergency restoration companies.

The current owner is 80 years old, and both he and the main technician are looking to retire.


Responsibilities:

• Maintain communications with existing clients
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic components
• Remove smoke damage from household electronics
• Collaborate with team member to do inventory of damaged items, and organize the return of restored items to job site.

Skills:

• Basic mechanical knowledge to handle electronic equipment
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and wiring
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problemsolving skills to diagnose and resolve electronic issues
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Salary:
From $77,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

• Victoria, BC: Relocate before starting work (required)
