About us
Delicia Cafe & Bakery is a brand new business in New Westminster, BC.

Looking for Experienced Barista to join our team:
Responsibilities for Barista

  • Prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks that meet quality standards
  • Properly handle and maintain all equipment
  • Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner
  • Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cashhandling procedures
  • Serve customers quickly and efficiently
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
  • Observe relevant health and safety standards
  • Ensure the kitchen & all areas are clean and sanitized at all times
  • Carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient workspace

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years experience as Barista in Canada
  • Experience for working with programming coffee machines not considered.
  • Must have experience for working with Professional Espresso coffee machine
  • Having a knowledge of Latte Art is preferred
  • Having a knowledge of how to bake pastries is preferred
  • Food Safe Cetificate Level 1 is required before starting the job
  • Week days and weekend availability during business hours is a must.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 15-25 per week


Salary:
$17.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • New Westminster, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Barista: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe Level 1 Certificate (preferred)
