Overview

Job Description: The Client Solution Owner (CSO) is a core member of the project team and works full-time on the engagement. The CSO is responsible for ensuring the implementation delivers measurable business value by aligning product configuration and delivery with the client's operational needs. This role acts as the primary bridge between client stakeholders and the delivery team, guiding solution approaches and aligning stated requirements with underlying business objectives. The CSO collaborates closely with the Integration Lead, where applicable, to ensure alignment between business processes and data integrations.

Requirement/Must Have

• Product management background.
• Airline business knowledge or aviation domain experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client stakeholders to understand goals, operational needs, and success criteria, and guide solution direction and trade-offs.
• Ensure delivery of a minimal, value-focused configuration aligned with business objectives and implementation outcomes.
• Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and ongoing grooming.
• Translate client requirements into well-defined backlog items, including user stories and acceptance criteria, in collaboration with the delivery team.
• Ensure non-development work such as training preparation, testing support, environment setup, and readiness activities are represented and prioritized in the backlog.
• Engage clients in acceptance and validation activities, manage change requests, and ensure impacts are understood and tracked.
• Contribute to planning and scheduling based on sprint plans and delivery progress.
• Review sprint outcomes and confirm delivered functionality meets intended business objectives.
• Make delivery decisions by accepting or rejecting features and confirming readiness for client release.
