We are seeking a positive and collaborative IT Financial Analyst to work and be part of our IT team.

In this role, you will work closely with our Finance counterparts and be a key player in managing and analyzing financial data related to our IT department, helping to ensure effective budgeting, cost control, and financial transparency.

As the IT Financial Analyst, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to provide valuable insights, financial forecasts, and data-driven recommendations to optimize IT spending and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do

As an IT Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Financial Planning: Work with Finance colleagues and assist in the development and management of the IT department's financial plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze IT expenditures, project costs, and vendor contracts to identify costsaving opportunities and areas for financial optimization
  • Budget Management: Monitor IT budgets and actual expenses, providing regular reports to IT leadership and Finance stakeholders on budget performance and financial KPIs
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate IT investment opportunities, ensuring that costbenefit analyses and ROI calculations to support decisionmaking on new IT initiatives
  • Invoice Management: Assess and assist in the reconciliations of invoices against expected costs and budgets
  • Forecasting and

Predictive Analysis:
Utilize historical financial data and and project execution trends to generate forecasts and predictive analysis, aiding in resource planning and financial projections

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and internal controls in all IT financial activities
What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably within the IT industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software, as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with IT financial management, including IT budgeting, cost allocation, and IT project costing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative and teamoriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement in financial processes
