Job summary
The Set Up Operator will work closely with project leaders to set up new jobs on CNC vertical & horizontal machining centers and train machine operators on these jobs.The incumbent will also perform initial inspections of machined parts to verify accuracy and conformance to specifications.
- Sets up CNC machines by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and machine settings based on production plans and technical drawings.
- Configures machine parameters such as speeds, feeds, and coolant flow to match the material and design requirements.
