We are looking for a dedicated and talented
Warehouse Associate to Be Part of Our Great Family - Join the Ben-Mor Team

***As the Warehouse Associate, you will effectively and efficiently pick, prepare and internally transport orders for internal and external customers, complete wire rope splicing and chain sling manufacturing and assist with shipping & receiving processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Pick, prepare and internally transport orders (both manually and using forklift and/or other transport devices) as per internal and external customer requirements.
Complete all required documentation and follow all applicable instructions and health & safety policies and procedures.
Complete wire rope splicing using proper techniques.
Manufacture chain slings of various sizes.
Assist with shipping & receiving processes, as applicable.
Participate in ongoing inventory and cycle count management.
Label materials, chemicals and substances according to health & safety policies and procedures, as applicable.
Inspect and report on maintenance of tools and equipment in the shipping, receiving and warehouse areas.
Ensure and report on quality of material and product before, during and following all applicable processes.
Maintain production documentation, inventory and good housekeeping of work area(s).
Adhere to policies and procedures of Ben-Mor Cables Inc. as well as all regulatory compliance procedures.
Ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors; report concerns/incidents, as required.
Perform other related tasks and functions as required by the dictates of the business needs relative to the nature of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Saskatchewan High School Diploma, or equivalent, considered an asset not required.
Previous relevant experience as a material handler, or equivalent, considered an asset.
Previous relevant experience as a splicer, or equivalent, considered an asset.
Forklift operator certification considered an asset.
Forklift operation experience in a manufacturing setting considered an asset.
Ability to take measurements and read, interpret and follow drawings and instructions.
Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail required.
Capability to work effectively and safely in a fastpaced and changing environment.
Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Punctual & Reliable.
Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job.
Capability to learn and retain information.
Professional and inclusive when dealing with other employees, customers and suppliers.

POSITION CONDITIONS

Day Shift (8:00am 4:30pm)
Permanent, Full-Time
Repetitive work requiring walking/sitting/standing positions
Ability to lift, lower, carry, push and pull up to 50lbs with rotation is required
