PepsiCo Foods Canada (PFC) has contract position opening within Customer Value Chain for a Customer Value Chain Support Analyst


Position Description:

This role reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager and is based in the Peterborough Quaker Plant.


Responsibilities:


This role is responsible for:


  • 23 direct reports Set the Agenda to ensure "Best in Class" execution for the site
  • Coach and develop talent including direct reports, Team Supervisors
  • Build and support effective Human Resources plans for Salaried Direct Reports and Frontline employees leveraging self development tools (PDR, SCCA, ACE, etc)
  • Provide visible Safety Leadership (on floor) to proactively influence Shop Floor Culture
  • Build mechanisms to support regular interactions with frontline teams to communicate and engage them in the business with clear goals and expectations
  • Work with PIE and BUL to execute RCA to drive out loss in all areas of the business (Safety, Quality and Efficiency)
  • Work with the Business to identify and deliver AOP / productivity for the department driving future growth
  • Drive Productivity agenda as acting Scrum Master for Department's Agile teams
  • Work with Capabilities, BUL and MM to ensure successful labour strategy execution (Dept training plans, summer plan, etc)
  • Own the departments hourly capability agenda (tools, training, processes, systems) including Capability assessment and Capability curriculum.
  • Work with team to mentor and develop Lead Hand/Utility/Generalist and support positions
  • Identify and action areas of continuous improvement and loss elimination associated with Hourly and Team supervisor capability
  • Build internal infrastructure to continue to support innovation launches and commercialization
  • Work with peer group to ensure consistency in execution of all key processes across the site fostering an environment of accountability and Collaboration


Influence and Gain knowledge from Peer Group (BUL's) on all aspects of supply chain in order to improve overall process/attainment/capable rates/optimal crewing strategies, etc.


Qualifications:

  • Post Secondary Degree/Diploma or relevant work experience
  • Grounded in fundamental Operations (Frontline Mfg/QA/Planning)
  • Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to think "Outside of the BOX" for solutions
  • Experience supporting a frontline organization
  • Change management experience, specifically managing change within a large organization
  • Excellent communicator with an ability to drive results through multiple tactics
  • Experience leading Operations (Functional Knowledge)
  • Agile Trained, Sprint Focused
  • Ability to understand interdependencies of various aspects of the business, and prioritize activities to achieve results
  • Process driven, methodical and systemic, but with an ability to flex norms to aide in solving problems
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence the decisionmaking process
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Courage to make tough decisions and deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous business situations
  • Strong expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present his/her point of view in varied business situations
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint/Excel/Word
  • Able to support the team on the offshift as required
