Get ready to embark on your journey in Product This is a high-impact opportunity, and we are on the lookout for someone who is execution-focused, can naturally influence and who communicates with a purpose.

You'll require strong analytical ability, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and energy to drive action across multiple stakeholders.

As an Associate Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping support Product Managers in key projects and initiatives designed to address the needs of our customers.

This position will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key metrics by executing on strategies that drive profitability, streamline existing processes, and improve the customer experience.

You are going to help define our value-based product roadmaps, ensure we deliver on our commitments and "Make the Magic happen".


WHO YOU ARE:

  • You hold a degree, or diploma, or have relative experience in Engineering, Data Science, or Business.
  • You have 2 years of product experience, in a fastpaced SaaS environment (coop terms in a product management role are welcome).
  • You have strong foundational product management knowledge.
  • You have a selfstarter attitude with the ability to work independently and sift through ambiguity.
  • You are able to crunch numbers and understand the impact a product can have on business operations.
  • You've done or have participated in a form of customerfacing research, or a customer serviceoriented role.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills and have experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You are curious and driven to learn and stay current with industry trends.
  • You are a team player and have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • You are analytical and enjoy creative problemsolving and strategic thinking
  • You can identify key tasks and possess the ability to problemsolve and create workarounds as needed
  • You have excellent project management skills.
  • You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, thriving in uncertainty and getting things done.
  • You are empathetic and focused on making an impact.
  • You have an entrepreneurial and growth mindset.

It would be GREAT if you had:

  • Experience working on B2B products.
  • Engineering background either an engineering degree or experience working on technical products.
  • Experience in the Video Surveillance or Security industry

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
  • Be willing to comply with Solink's own security policies and standards.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • You will assist the product team in defining and prioritizing problems worth solving
  • You will help triage through incoming feedback and summarize key findings to the team
  • You will help analyze usage and patterns across our products to assist in prioritization and measuring the success of various projects
  • You will be assigned projects, trained how to work through them, and your results will be used to drive product development.
  • You will be strategic in your approach as you help drive our product strategy by understanding our users and the problems we solve for them, and work with product managers to ensure product reliability and scalability.
  • You will excel at crossfunctional collaboration and work with leadership, design, engineering, sales, marketing, support and customer success to deliver value.
  • You will help define business and functional requirements for new products and enhancements.
  • You will assist in the investigation and prioritization of production bugs and issues.
  • You will learn to do market analysis and research to gather and analyze audience insights and feedback regarding new products and enhancements.
