    Position Overview

  • The Police Administration Department requires a regular fulltime Administration Clerk (Financial Services Section) to join the Police Administration team at the RCMP Detachment.
    Responsibilities
  • You will provide administrative support services involving purchasing, personnel and payroll, accounting clerical, and/or general clerical duties. Specifically, you will prepare, process, and maintain a large volume of records, files, permits, licenses, indexes and accounts pertaining to department activities; such as invoices, requisitions, prisoner data, cheques, fees, receipts, payroll forms, inventory and other documentation.

Compensation
- $27.43 to $32.23 per hour- (Pay Grade 1
  • January 2021 rates)
    Hours of Work
  • Any consecutive 7 hours between 6:00am 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, exclusive of meal breaks (35 hour week). The City of North Vancouver currently works on a compressed work schedule, with one scheduled day off each threeweek scheduling cycle.
    Additional Information
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an RCMP security clearance as a condition of ongoing employment.
