Overview
We are looking for a Proposal Assistant to support our proposals team with the preparation and production of proposals ensuring the satisfaction of clients and multiple stakeholders.
About the role:
- Contribute to the identification, development and publication of proposals, tenders and other written documentation requiring professional writing and editing skills.
- Conduct detailed scans of specified websites to identify potential opportunities in alignment with core service areas.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of quality tender and expression of interest documentation.
- Assist with internal communications and meetings (e.g., schedule, attend and collect meeting notes, and distribute action item lists).
- Communicate and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to assist with gathering proposal content.
- Assist with internal stakeholder followup to ensure proposal development milestones are met.
- Assist with formatting of proposals and associated documents in preparation of submittal.
- Assist with the maintenance of client and opportunity database, registers, and internal business development documentation within our client relationship management system.
- Assisting with the preparation of proposal status reports.
About you
years of experience providing proposal or project coordination/administrative support. Experience within a professional services firm is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications, considered a strong asset.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office software, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Excellent team player and able to work collaboratively with others.
- An assertive, cooperative, and effective communicator (written and verbal).
- Ability to perform under solid pressure and tight deadlines.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Must be selfmotivated, confident, energetic and creative.
