Position Overview:

  • Assigns dressing rooms and associated keys. Processes ice rental orders and payments.

Responsibilities:


  • Acts as the frontline contact for general inquiries
  • Answers inquiries in person and over the phone
  • Directs clients to rooms/halls within the facility; contacts appropriate staff via twoway radio for support when necessary.
  • Uses computerized scheduling system to obtain facility information; assigns dressing rooms for ice rentals; and, distributes dressing room keys.
  • Resolves issues or relays improvement suggestions to appropriate staff (calls Supervisor when appropriate).
  • Performs administrative duties including filing facility rental contracts/amendments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of partial secondary school experience.
  • Up to 1 month of related experience.
  • Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization and to participate as an effective team member.
  • Highly developed customer service skills and be able to pass applicable testing.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills in order to determine caller needs, understand and relay information, build positive rapport, confidence and trust.
  • Able to deal with customers tactfully and effectively in a fast paced, ever changing work environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Cashhandling skills and be able to pass applicable testing.
  • Proficient with software programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and have the ability to learn new software programs easily and pass applicable testing.
  • Able to find information and provide customers with answers quickly and accurately while using multiple resources.
  • Problem solving skills in order to resolve stakeholder problems.
  • Reliable with good attitude and employment record.


  • From September

  • April, shifts include:


  • Some event mornings 6am-9am

  • Evenings 5pm-close and weekends 6am-close
  • Shifts may vary based on facility usage
