Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position is responsible managing the Club's outstanding payment areas, with the intention of helping to keep member accounts paid to date.

As a polished, diplomatic communicator, this role will strike a balance to encourage a sense of urgency to address outstanding payment arears while also helping to maintain relationships with existing members.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • On a monthly basis arrange for communications to be mailed out to members with formal notification of accounts in arears
  • Completely account reconciliations and adjustments to reflect updated payment status, terms and plans
  • Interacting and communicating with Accounts Receivable and Member Services regarding member status, contact information and other relevant information and details
  • Preparing recommendations and organizes files for referral to outside counsel and/or thirdparty collections services
  • Maintaining a positive, professional approach in member interactions, consistent with a relationshipdriven, community environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce or Accounting is an asset
  • Minimum 35 years experience in business to consumer collections
  • Private Club or Hospitality industry experience is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills with an emphasis on interacting with diplomacy and tact at all times
  • Highly organized with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

$25.50 per hour
