Due to our growth, we are looking for a new member to complete our procurement team. This position is offered for a 12 month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position afterwards. The Purchasing team, deploys many initiatives to ensure the supply, improve and develop partnerships with suppliers. You are responsible for optimizing processes and systems to improve procurement efficiency.

In summary, here's how you'll be spending your time:

  • Plan purchases, produce POs according to technical specifications and related logistics
  • Support the different teams by providing information regarding any schedule changes
  • Manage inventory levels using the ERP (Syteline)
  • Take charge of the management of your projects by completing documents such as project mandates, action plan followups and ensure the followup of deadlines

YOUR PROJECTS:


  • You have as project to optimize the procurement process, to make the diagnosis and the recommendations of improvements
  • You have the mandate to participate in the update of the ERP
  • You will have to develop partnerships with other Soucy plants to increase our purchasing power

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:


  • You have a BAA in GOP or related specialization
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience
  • You are bilingual (French and English, oral and written)
  • You are proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Good organizational skills, analytical skills and ability to manage priorities
  • ERP experience (Syteline & SAP knowledge)
