    We are seeking a seasoned Java Expert to join our team in Ottawa.

    Job Summary

    This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java, JavaScript (React), and relational database backends.
    • Contribute to UX design activities, including markup and styling using HTML/CSS.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
    • Develop and deploy applications using Python, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
    • Utilize build automation tools such as Ivy/Maven/Gradle to streamline development workflows.
    • Adhere to Agile development methodologies and software documentation platforms like Gitlab/GitHub and/or Atlassian Confluence.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience developing with Java, JavaScript (React), and relational database backends.
    • Strong understanding of UX design principles and ability to contribute to markup and styling using HTML/CSS.
    • Experience working with IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ, as well as code repositories such as Git.
    • Ability to develop applications using Python and leverage build automation tools.
