    Industrial Millwright Position - $44.13 per Hour

    About the Role:

    INVISTA Canada's Kingston nylon manufacturing site in Kingston, Ontario, is looking to fill positions for Millwrights in our Maintenance Teams. Take the opportunity to grow your career with us.

    Our Team:

    Our Team consists of about 80 trade professionals and apprentices who work together in an integrated and supportive environment. We highly value personal growth, teamwork, safety, and delivering high-quality results.

    Responsibilities:

    • Carry out mechanical preventive maintenance and repair tasks following Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines.
    • Perform preventative maintenance and condition monitoring.
    • Keep accurate maintenance records.
    • Assist in developing reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
    • Provide mechanical training to shift team members and apprentices.
    • Tasks may involve troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

    Requirements:

    • Hold a current Certificate of Qualification 433A License as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
    • Availability to work shifts, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
    • Able to work in a tobacco-free environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, refining, or chemical facility.
    • Experience in troubleshooting equipment and developing solutions.
    • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and use of mobile technologies.
