    Description
    *Health Safety Environment Coordinator*Collicutt Energy Services Corp, recognized experts in engine rebuilds and servicing and a leader in the natural gas and diesel power generation industry, is currently seeking an HSE Coordinator to join our Collicutt team in the Red Deer Head Office. We are looking for someone who is ready for the opportunity to grow with the company and challenge themselves.


    _*This position will be 32 hours per week from Tuesday to Friday each week with Monday's as your scheduled day off.

    *Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Mentor, guide, teach and coach team members on health and safety management system requirements, responsibilities, and how to fulfill them.
    • Collaborate with management and their teams to ensure the H&S focus in their regions remains aligned with corporate objectives.
    • Assists in the assessment of work processes to identify hazards, assess risks and determine appropriate controls
    • Creating a positive and welcoming work environment
    • Develop and deliver safety training, including presentations and educational materials
    • Develop safe work practices and procedures to meet OHS legislation and industry standards.
    • Review reporting data to identify trends and recommend improvement strategies.
    • Conduct site safety inspections, formal risk assessments and safety audits.
    • Provide guidance to team members in conducting quality incident investigations, including the identification of root causes and appropriate preventative actions
    • Assist and oversee contractor compliance subscriptions.

    *The position requires:
    • High school diploma
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in the Health and Safety field
    • Extensive knowledge of provincial safety legislation
    • Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
    • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
    • Self-motivation; the ability to work in a very dynamic environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Effective time management, including the ability to anticipate and deal with the effects of change
    • An ability to address issues with certainty, assertiveness and with the company's best interests at the forefront
    • A love of people and high level of professionalism
    • Strong analytical and decision making skills
    • Available for, and legally able to, travel internationally
