DUTIES:


Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Contemporary Teaching & Learning (SCTL), the Administrative Coordinator will contribute to a culture of Operational and Academic Excellence by leading the logístical requirements of all faculty development initiatives at St.

Lawrence College.

These initiatives will require the incumbent to utilize their strong business acumen to build relationships with internal/external stakeholders, generate/review financial reports and coordinate special events on all three campuses.


In this role, the incumbent will work with a multidisciplinary team of teaching/learning experts to support existing faculty development programming and provide logístical support to new training opportunities that meet the needs of the academic division.

The incumbent will also contribute to strategic planning by providing financial forecasting, managing enrolment data, and supporting the implementation of the course evaluation process.


Qualifications:


Education and Experience:

A minimum of a 3-year diploma/degree in Business or another relevant field of studies.

  • Advanced knowledge of administration, human resources, financial and physical resource management
  • Demonstrated advanced client services orientation and skills
  • Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders within event planning initiatives
  • Project management knowledge and skills to support budget planning processes within prescribed strategic initiatives
  • Skill in managing human, financial and physical resources
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Strong time management, prioritizing and multitaking skills in an environment and the ability to work under the pressure or timelines with competing priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex and matrix environment as part a tricampus team
  • Highly developed communication skills, written and verbal and consultation skills to effectively handle interactions with individuals at all levels of the college and with external stakeholders
  • Ability to adjust to change, model the adoption of change management and foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement
  • Models the organizational values of Students-First, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation and Belonging

Physical/Work Environment Essential Requirements:


The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college's Telework Policy.


Salary & Terms:

Admin Group:Pay Band 9: $69,600 - $87,001 per annum, commensurate on education and experience. In addition to the salary, the position is eligible for pay for performance.
