Serving primarily aerospace, and nuclear industries, Liburdi combines expertise in control technology and welding processes to develop unique solutions to challenges presented by these industries.

Our Company has an immediate opening for an Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.


_Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):_
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data.

Process high volumes of invoices and verify for accuracy.

Track invoices against Purchase Orders.

Facilitate payment of invoices due.

File processed invoices.

Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.

Process cheque requests.

Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.

Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues.

Liaison with Purchasing and Receiving departments.

Respond to any vendor inquires.

Assist with financial reporting.

Support other accounting and payroll functions.

Ability to prepare Organizational Charts.

Ability to arrange travel (including accommodations and airfare) for employees, management team and/or visitors.

Assist employees with arranging employee VISA's for international travel.

Arrange and coordinate major company events in partnership with Liburdi Social Committee.

Schedule and coordinate Director's meetings including taking meeting minutes.

Assist Divisional Presidents / Finance with preparing quarterly Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

Oversee and coordinate Front Desk Administrative Staff activities.

Provide back-up support to Front Desk Administrators.

Prepare various ad-hoc memos and letters as well as enhance Corporate messages from the Executive Group.

Provide support for CEO/CFO and Presidents for LAI and LTS.

_Key Education / Experience Requirements:
_

1-3 years previous accounts payable experience required

5+ years previous administrative experience required

Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration or equivalent

Previous experience with Great Plains or similar accounting/ERP an asset

Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) required

Previous experience working in construction/nuclear/field service an asset

Dental insurance:
Coverage includes 80% of basic services (maximum $1,500 per calendar year), such as recall exams, fillings, root canal; 50% of major services (maximum $1,500 per calendar year), such as dentures, crowns; and 50% of orthodontic services (maximum $2,000 per lifetime, age only)


Enhanced Plan:
Employees can pay an optional premium to 'buy up' to Enhanced Dental Care. Coverage includes 100% of basic services; 80% of major services and 2 recall exams per calendar year. The same plan maximums apply.

Employee pays 100% of premium. Cash benefits received are tax-free. Subject to approval of medical evidence by SunLife Financial. Coverage begins after 17 weeks of continuous sickness or disability.

Benefit amount - 60% of your first $5,000 of monthly earnings, plus 40% of any excess amount, to a maximum of $6,000.

Benefit period - to age 65. Short-Term Disability (Self-insured):

The Company self-insures a Short-Term Disability plan for permanent employees who have completed one (1) year of employment and are unable to work due to verifiable, non-occupational medical cause.

Subject to approval by a leading care management company.

Benefit amount - 100% of weekly earnings for each year of completed service; 66 2/3% of weekly earnings for each week of disability thereafter.

Maximum benefit period - 17 weeks.
