About the Role
We're seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who is ready to make a significant impact.
In this role, you will not only be managing high volume payables and ensuring strict deadlines, but also cultivating solid relationships with suppliers.
You'll work efficiently to complete the Accounts Payable cycle, ensuring accurate data collection and seamless collaboration with branches, managers, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, match, code, and enter miscellaneous and inventory vendor invoices for all Coast locations.
- Perform 3way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for inventory suppliers.
- Manage invoice data entry, ensuring proper cost allocation (GL coding).
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations, troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor all items on outstanding purchase orders, ensuring they are received, paid for, and properly accounted.
- Obtain approvals for invoice pricing.
- Swiftly respond to and resolve internal and supplier enquiries.
- Maintain an organized file of assorted Accounts Payable documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- A strong understanding of accounting principles, preferably with experience in accounts payable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- A keen eye for detail and robust data entry skills.
- The ability to manage high volume tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Exceptional customer service, communication skills, and a flair for teamwork.
Salary:
$40,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

Education:
- Secondary School (required)
Experience:
Microsoft Office: 5 years (required)
Microsoft Excel: 5 years (preferred)
- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)
