Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cut meat and poultry to the desired size and shape
- Cut meat and poultry at various quality levels to size and shape
- Cut meat and poultry to various thicknesses
- Cut meat and poultry at various quality levels to various sizes
- Clean workstations regularly using standard cutting tools
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to use standard cutting tools as well as hand tools (e.g. knives, saws, etc.)
- Ability to follow instructions regarding food safety, proper storage practices, and how to cut certain foods in order to maintain quality.
- Ability to use common sense to avoid possible pitfalls when cutting food.
- Ability to use machines to process meat
- 6 months experience in meat cutting is a plus
- This position is for Persons over 16 only
Work Schedule:
- Sundays, Saturdays and 3 weekdays: 7:30 AM4:00 PM
