    Lakeside School Kelowna is seeking an experienced part-time French teacher to work in a Grade 1 to 6 setting.

    JOB DUTIES:
    Teachers have a passion for inspiring a love of learning in children and youth. Key qualities are strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborate environment. The successful candidate will have excellent class management and organizational skills.
    The class teacher will also be responsible for:

    Attendance at faculty meetings
    Facilitating parent evenings and meetings
    Filling in as a substitute teacher in other classrooms
    Lesson Planning and classroom preparation
    Report writing
    Record keeping
    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

    ~ Be eligible for a BC Teaching Certificate with the Teacher Regulation Branch
    ~ Training in Waldorf Education or a commitment to enrol in Waldorf teacher training
    ~ Fluent in written and spoken English
    ~ Current First-Aid Certificate
    ~3 Written References
    ~ Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status
