Leads/oversees and contributes to the overall success of Cash Management Contact Centre (CMCC) Small Business in Canada ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.


Is This Role Right for You? In this role, you will:

  • Leads and drives a customer-focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Lead and coach a team of Cash Management Specialists by providing direction, guidance, and support to team members who support referrals from partners, in addition to overseeing a proactive call strategy. Resolve any issues and concerns raised by clients and/or partners.
  • Develop new and expanded relationships with national partners across the branch network and private banking offices to expand our current business and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Planning and leading team meetings/huddles/business development planning sessions to ensure accountability and a worldclass customer experience.
  • Contribute insight and knowledge to business lines and product groups to improve the overall user and customer experience. This would often involve piloting new concepts in a testandlearn environment.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
  • Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
  • Builds a highperformance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vision/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team.

Is This Role Right for You? In this role, you will:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • You must possess strong interpersonal skills, communication, judgment, negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills.
  • High degree of flexibility required to adapt to a wide variety of tasks and functions and the ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual French and Mandarin is an asset.
